Let's Talk Shop...Or Should I Say Turkey?

I know, I know! Where did the summer go? Why does Target already have their Halloween decorations out? I am wondering the same things. While nobody is ready to talk Holidays yet (especially me) I just wanted to note that if you are thinking about sprucing up your home before this Holiday season you might want to start now.
I say this because I have had people call me at the beginning of November thinking that is enough time for Christmas but it can be a real crunch (not impossible just more on the rushed side). That time of year things run slower, companies are preparing for the end of the year and factories are closed more days than usual. With that being said of course I would love to be the one to help you. I know, I know...I am the dreaded "D" word! Decorator that is. The job can come with a certain stigma, but working with a decorator doesn't have to be a scary, intimidating experience. And while bringing someone in to help you with your house can be tight on the pocketbook, it can actually help. Consider these points:

1. Time is money. We are all busy, using a professional will save you time you would be spending running around.

2. I have had so many clients tell me they wish they had hired me before they tried to do it on their own. While they have great taste and know what they want, they struggle pulling it all together and therefore spend money on pieces they later dislike. It is better to spend wisely than to spend and later regret big purchases.

3. There are many trade sources that come with BIG price tags, but there are also sources that carry great products at reasonable pricing. It is possible to spend close to what you would in a big box store and get a product you don't see in every other home.

If you have any questions please call me. My clients range from people working on the smallest projects just getting started to clients who are building their dream homes.

Okay more to come later, thanks for letting me add a business note on here!
