Quiet Time- Freedom

It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery. Galatians 5:1
I run in the path of your commands, for you have set my heart free. Psalm 119:32

Interior Design is a double edged sword. If you get it right, you can be the proud owner of a beautiful home. But if you get it wrong, you will be forced to stay in a less than desirable house for years. It may take a long time before you have the time, resources and energy to redesign your home again. So be sure to get it right.

There are 2 common redecorating approaches that you may wish to get acquainted with. The first approach, requires you to be consistent. That means the entire design of the house will be of the same look and feel. For instance, you can choose to have a classical or a modern look, but it's the same throughout.

However, you may face fierce protest from your family members. If you have any kids, they probably won't let you design their rooms for them. But for small families, this method can work quite well. It will save you the hassle of having to think of a new design for each and every room. At times, when resources and time is scarce, this is the best approach to adopt.

Modern Luxury Single Family House Parliament Hill London

Modern Luxury Single Family House Parliament Hill LondonAmazing and most creative house design ideas for single family are offered from this modern luxury parliament hill home design photos gallery. This minimalist, contemporary interior and exterior architecture design mix with wooden natural materials is very great idea. The designer Belsize Architects have created this parliament hill elegant and comfortable single family residence placed in London, UK (United Kingdom) for their private client with extending the ground floor and integrating the rear home garden with the new interiors decor styles. The most attractive plan in this residence is big master bedroom that has direct access to the rear large terrace over the new extension. Internally, the ground and first floor layouts were remodeled lengthily. The ground floor was opened up and linked to the new extension. A big opening, covered in structural glass, was shaped over the additional space which allows diffused light into the depth of the living room.

What Do You Think

Hello Blogger Friends,

This week has been crazy, but I am beginning to think life is always going to crazy as in C-C-C-razy! So, I am going to sign off for the rest of the week and hopefully will come back refreshed next week. I did want to leave you with this image though from Anthropologie...I LOVE LOVE LOVE the chalkboard as a headboard. So here is my question for y'all....Do you think in the "real" world this would be possible? I really want to try it somewhere. Maybe if the image on the chalkboard was paint instead of chalk? But then you would not be able to change it easily.

I would love to hear ideas.

Have a wonderful holiday weekend!

Today's real estate market is terrible. But; there are many ways to make your home more salable than many others. The best method is staging. This is a way of make the home more attractive to potential buyers; and it can help if your home needs some updating or re-organization! Here you will find all the information to make it easy.
This also is helpful if you just want to re-decorate your home.
Take a note pad and pen with you on your journey and take notes. The first thing to do is to look around your home. Go room-to-room and find all the things that are broken, not working or something you should have thrown out a long time ago. Write down the items for each room that need repair. This will give you an accurate record of what needs to be corrected.

Be sure to write these things down because you will forget

Now that you have finished that chore start making any repairs and removal of junk or un-wanted items. This little bit of work may surprise you at how the home is starting to look...better.
Once you have completed that part of the project it is time to see which rooms need to be re-painted. Potential buyers like to come into a home that is clean and the walls (if necessary) need to be painted. Remove any wall hangings to see if the walls have faded or darkened with time. Keep the walls free of any pictures or items. This also makes the walls appear larger. Don't skimp on a few gallons of paint if it can bring you the sale.
